Demetex Solution, together with the Director of Pa Tung Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, led a Insecticide exposure risk screening with over 600 people joining. President of the Village Public Health Volunteer, as the representative of the participants, spoke at the event that they want to have the screening twice a year in order to keep people healthy, in a good quality of life, and aware of the need to change their behaviors of insecticides or other chemicals usage to be safer for themselves.

Hopefully, this event will help people become aware of the dangers of using insecticides, said Mr. Nirot Chartphot, Director of Pa Tung Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital. He added that it is important for farmers to, rather than focus on increasing productivity and income for themselves, realize the risks on their health and on others’ from using insecticides, and try changing their behaviors, switching to organic farming, or even consuming non-toxic ingredients to reduce the risk of developing health diseases.
