A biomarker is a defined characteristic measured as an indicator of normal biological processes, abnormal conditions, or responses to an exposure (per the US FDA). A familiar example is blood sugar (HbA1c), which indicates diabetes risk — DR.EX™ uses the cholinesterase enzyme as a biomarker for insecticide exposure.
Insecticides are everywhere — in food, fruit and vegetables, and through direct exposure in farming or food supply-chain work. Screening reveals the exposure level in the body so you can protect health and manage risk before it's too late.

It uses an enzymatic colorimetric assay (Ellman method) — the serum biomarker reacts with the reagent to produce a yellow hue proportional to exposure, then a reader converts it into a numerical value and risk level with recommendations.
It was developed from studies of people with real insecticide exposure, manufactured under the international ISO 13485 standard and certified as an IVD (In Vitro Diagnostic) medical device by Thailand's Ministry of Public Health, paired with a high-precision digital reader.
